What a delightful early Foden model this is – surely the cream of the Dinky crop with this all original pale grey finish, mid-blue chassis and flash, first type cab, lovely early herringbone tyres and bright shiny metal parts (even the axle ends are gleaming).
Carefully handled and obviously cherished, with just the occasional negligible mark, this is a sought after model and becoming an increasingly difficult find. Hard to imagine a better investment piece.

The good news continues when one looks at the bright vivid fresh early box with a complete (and so clean and bright!) paper label. Certainly no splits or graffiti.

Shopkeeper’s neatly penned price of 9/6 may be seen at one end. Note the distinctive end label on the box lid too with a line drawing o fthe model and a faintly stamped letter ‘G’ to denote colour of model.

A first rate example that will be a joy to own – quite irresistable!
