Notes

This would have been a special treat indeed for some lucky little boy circa 1963! However, the contents of this set have barely been touched.

It comprises:

1) 1105 Bedford TK Tansporter is in very near mint condition with both wing mirrors complete and intact (including the additional ‘mirror’ pieces). Very fresh looking throughout with one flake of paint towards a rear wheel and a few negligible dots besides. Metal parts are extremely bright, Corgi Dog transfer is complete at the rear and the transporter section is virtually mint (apart from the unavoidable marking where the tailboard hitches on). Fine example.

2) Corgi 222 Renault Floride in very near mint condition with front and rear number plates and applied wheel trims (these stickers can be removed if wished). Few minor marks only.

The pictorial card box is complete and quite bright with minor handling wear and a shopkeeper’s price at an end flap.

3) Corgi 230 Mercedes-Benz 220 SE Coupe has an attractive deep red paint finish. One fine scratch at the bonnet and a dot or two besides.

Box is complete, crisp and bright and in excellent condition. Shopkeeper’s price at an end flap. Minor handling wear only.

3) Corgi 232 Fiat 2100. Virtually mint example. A real showstoper! Box is crisp, clean and bright. No graffiti.

4) Corgi 234 Ford Consul Classic is in very near mint condition with only a couple of tiny dots. Box is clean and bright, with a couple of light creases and a shopkeeper’s price at an end flap.

Complete with two ‘Dummy’ boxes as pictured looking fresh and vibrant:

Uncreased and never folded Corgi Club Membership Form inside the box.
The attractive pictorial lid is complete and vividly-coloured with no graffiti. There is a repair to one corner split and a small amount of rubbing at an edge, tiny scuff or two besides. Survived better than most!

Deserves to be the centre piece of your Corgi display!
