Surely destined to become the centre piece of any Dinky commercial collection, we are pleased to offer for sale the most sought-after Big Bedford advertising lorry! Issued between 1958-59 only.

In close to perfect condition, this fine model has a vibrant red cab and chassis and a bright yellow back. More commonly found with the ‘Bean Can’ transfers, this scarce version has the all-important ‘Sauce Bottle’ transfers in mint/virtually mint condition on both sides:

There are a couple of little chips at a wheel arch and a few dots besides. Two little touch-ins (one on the front of the van top, the other at a rear door).
Rear doors are complete and intact, opening and closing smoothly. Often found heavily marked, this example has barely any wear at all.

Bright baseplate:

The attractive and correctly-pictured Supertoy box is in excellent condition; bright, with no splits. A couple of rust stain marks at the lid ends and the Hudson Dobson exporters label has been removed at the side.
