An early example of this eye catching tanker made between 1953-54. A fine lustrous paint finish throughout – this example has had minimal handling and has been well stored. ‘Mobilgas’ lettering on both sides is virtually mint as is the distinctive rear Pegasus transfer. The paint finish is vibrant and very shiny indeed. This scarce commercial truck has an undented tank and not a trace of sunfading! None of the usual crazing to the paint finish either.

Upon the closest examination, a few subtle retouches may be seen. Otherwise hard to fault.
The correct early dark blue box is clean and fresh with good strong colours. The orange picture label is bright with minor wear only.

Overall, a fine example of an early Mobilgas Tanker that is becoming increasingly hard to source.
