An essential part of your Dinky military display, this ambulance is in close to mint condition with an authentic military green matt finish, cast-in red cross panels at the roof and sides. Slightly harder to get version made in 1962. Driver. Squadron markings at rear wheel arch and bonnet. Bright baseplate. Rear doors open and close well. A couple of small marks only, this truck has had minimal careful handling. Often, the military green matt paint becomes ‘shiny’ due to handling. Pleased to say that this example has kept its silky matt finish.
It is presented in the more unusual red and yellow non-pictorial box. Intact and complete with all end flaps. A little creasing/grubbinness and a shopkeeper’s pencilled price on one end flap.
