What a delightful and scarce set from the Dinky toy factory issued during the early 1950’s. This set has obviously never been used with the contents virtually pristine. Certainly the best surviving set we have seen or offered for sale. Early version with white hoses, all of which are notably intact. So often these rubber hoses perish, so this set has been well looked after and stored. Day-one bright colours on the contents too, with all delicate parts intact and authentic:

Note that this is the version with the plain oil bin.
The yellow inner is extremely fresh and bright with none of the expected wear and tear at the slots:

The most attractive lift-off lid pictorial box is in close to perfect condition with some of the original little pieces of tape in place which would have kept the lid closed. Minor scuff at an edge. The Hudson Dobson U.S. export label is still affixed at one end (partially removed). Bright clean colours throughout!
