Notes
This is the first issue made in red and yellow with a red cowl, a black engine and paper ‘David Brown 990’ labels.
Just two little dots on the pale lemon roof and a couple of tiny marks besides. All rubber tyres are original and without splits. Nice to see that all delicate parts are intact and the paper labels are complete and bright.
The fragile export box has fared very well, with bright, crisp card, including the ‘roadway’ (minor repair), and original cellophane (couple of small punctures).
So often, these boxes are a sorry sight with broken pieces especially the cellophane.
A fine model on display.
