First issue from 1967-73 in gloss green in truly outstanding condition, the best example we have seen. The Thunderbird 2 is happily free from the usual little problems that are all too frequent with these early examples i.e. the retractable yellow legs are not temperamental, they work really well and the plated parts and labels are complete, intact and bright.

Note too that this example comes complete with the small Thunderbird 4 inside the pod. Obviously unplayed with or indeed handled very much, this is an exceptional example. Upon minute inspection, there are a couple of small marks at one exposed back edge. Usually the metal pod which has to be slid out, is heavily marked, this example has a couple of the faintest marks which of course are invisible when assembled.

The attractive inner card stand has lots of great artwork and looks fresh with excellent strong colours. Clean and crisp with a couple of very small marks around the cut out base area. No tears.

Nice to see that the usually discarded packing piece is stil present too and without tears!

What a gem! Just one minor scratch to one surface.
A great Gerry Anderson model to add to your collection – this early issue is a strong favourite with many collectors. A very difficult find in this condition.
