First made during 1963, this first issue has a lustrous deep green finish, plastic grey canopy, lemon interior, metal towhook. Suspension on shaped spun wheels. A wonderful example!

Ex-shop stock quality – so none of the usual rubs at the raised body lines on the roof, or indeed at exposed edges.
The pictorial card box is complete, crisp and clean. Vivid colours. Remains of an old price label at one side. Faintly written shopkeeper’s price on one end flap.
