An impressive array of mint/very nearly mint road signs – this set is an absolute gem. A complete and original set in barely handled condition – what a delight! An amalgamation of Dinky 776, 777, 778 and 779 Road sign sets – this is the only set you will need. Issued between 1959-63.
Occasional small mark if you really look hard enough; over-riding impression is that these signs have remained in the box unused.
The box is very clean, fresh and bright and looks barely handled. It comes complete with the deeper yellow insert in which all 24 signs sit. Small surface tear in one place. Originally, this box was taped closed and remnants of the tape may be seen on lid and base. A little expected shelf grubbiness on the underside of the box base.
No splits on this box which has been carefully handled and stored.
All in all, this set is a delight to own and looks quite amazing on display!
