Issued between 1955-59, this sought-after Dinky car has a gleaming bright red original paint finish with a tan interior, and racing number 24:

Obviously very carefully handled and stored, this model has notably complete racing numbers and intact original screen. Indeed, this model looks unused and does not even have the usual mark to the driver’s head! A couple of negligible marks on one driver’s arm and a slight roughness to the paint finish/casting at the rear wheel arches. Small amount of dulling to the baseplate and axles. Original, smooth running supple tyres with the signature mark ‘M’ for Meccano on each one.
The box is complete and intact with the correct colour spot at end flaps. A little grubby in places, but no tears and the box has a crisp feel.

A desirable Dinky classic which displays beautifully.
