Notes
A shining lustrous unused example of this classic Dinky truck made between 1956-58. This example has a day-one vibrant deep blue cab and chassis and an orange-yellow stake back, red ‘supertoy’ ridged wheels.
So tempted to call this one mint – after careful scrutiny one may just about detect a couple of negligible marks on the cab roof (dots!). In the spirit of describing a fifty year old toy, one could be forgiven for calling this model mint!
Not even a rub on the cab roof and head-on the cab is unmarked too.
Axles, baseplate and metal fittings are bright and rust-free. Spare wheel is stowed underneath.
The bright clean box looks very fresh with barely any wear at all.
No splits or graffiti and the shiniest staples.
Dated 1957 on the Dinky stamp inside the lid.
Sure to become a favourite in your collection!
