Such a bright and fresh Dinky Guy Van! Issued between 1954-56 and scarce in fine condition, this is the more unusual dual-numbered transitional issue when the model changed from 514 to 917. Virtually perfect eye-catching transfers on both sides. This is a very nice example indeed:

With none of the usual chipping at the back doors, only a couple of marks in total at the wheel arches, one mark at a raised body line – as close to mint an example as you will find! Note the very minor detailing, however – i.e. a couple of flicks of silver at the door handles, and the oval which contains the word ‘GUY’ above the radiator.
The box too is extremely fresh and bright with no splits or repairs:

Just very minor shelf wear only. Faintly pencilled shopkeeper’s price at one end.
