One of the most prestigious Dinky models you can own; this is the sought-after ‘Lyons Swiss Rolls’ Dinky Guy Van model issued during 1952 only. Notoriously difficult to find in mint or even close to mint condition, this example is in all-original very good condition with a lustrous paint finish, happily free from re-touching or repainting, so often present in these high profile Dinky models. Distinctive transfers are excellent on both sides making this a delightful additition to your Dinky commercial collection:

Baseplate is generally bright, axles are shiny and the spare wheel is still stowed underneath:

Indeed, all the tyres are the originals and are in smooth, supple condition, so running easily.
None of the usual flaking to the paint finish that this particular model nearly always seems to have. There is some play chipping at the usual places i.e. wheel arches, rear doors, cab bumpers, top of van, etc.

The box is complete, clean and bright with an intact paper label (vivid colours).

No splits. Shopkeeper’s pencilled price at one end.
The box base is rather rubbed now and is smaller than usual. We suspect that another Dinky commercial box base was swapped at some time in the toy box!
