Notes
An all original example of this popular Dinky model, issued between 1948-52. This is the first issue (1948-52) presented in the harder to find deep green box with paper label. The model is marked ‘Supertoys’ on the base. Vivid red cab and chassis, fawn tank and silver flash, 20 mph sign at rear, tinplate ladders.
Close to mint, all original condition.
It is worth noting that this model has no retouches. However, there are some of the expected marks to the paint finish at some of the vulnerable areas (e.g. wheel arches).
The green card box is sturdy and sound with a virtually complete paper label. Rusty staples. Storage grubbiness anda little age wear.
