Notes
A rare find. This Double-Decker Bus has a glossy red finish, with upper deck surround in cream. Notably complete ‘PEDIGREE DOLLS’ & FROG & PENGUIN MODEL’ advertisements at the sides, complete transfer at the rear. ‘Putney’ destination with registration LBL 174. Complete ‘LONDON TRANSPORT’ lettering at the sides.
Working clockwork function. Wooden seating. Grey wheels. Smooth original black tyres are well-shaped. Shiny radiator and headlight assembly generally.
A beautiful period display piece in very close to mint condition:
Most unusual box presentation. This lift-off lid box comes in pale blue with decorative, colourful details and a complete paper label on the lid. A little age wear includes expected rubbing at edges etc.
