A popular Corgi model made between 1971-1973 and part of the ‘Corgi Comics’ range of models. The inimitable Basil Brush character is seated inside his bright red and yellow car.
Red plastic wheels and well-shaped original ‘Corgi Toys’ embossed tyres.
Very close to mint.
This model comes with the ‘Sound Box’ containing two intact laugh tapes (correct). An ambitious idea from Corgi: the pieces of tape inside are meant to sound like Basil’s laughter when the instructions are followed.
The colourfully illustrated outer box is complete, bright and has a crisp feel. The original cellophane is intact. Minor wear to the card.
Complete pictorial stand is clean, bright and complete. Very light wear. Neatly penned date of purchase (we assume) 15-11-1971.
