A very scarce early Gift Set issued during February 1940 (dated by the code at one lid side). This strung set comprises:
Dinky 150A – Royal Tank Corps Officer (with binoculars), paint finish is virtually mint. Tiniest crazing only.
2 × 150B Privates, seated. Virtually mint.
2 x Dinky 150C – Royal Tank Corps Private (arms behind back). Very close to mint.
Dinky 150E – Royal Tank Corps NCO (walking). Very near mint.
A desirable group of figures, to enhance a Dinky military collection in particular.
Powder blue lift-off lid box is complete and shows very light age wear only.
Remarkable for its age. Bright yellow card has a tiny tear.
This set looks as if it has remained in a drawer for much of the past 70 or so years.
