ONly the second QDT have ever handled in this colour finish! We are very pleased to offer for sale this rare Spot-on AEC Petrol Tanker. In all original condition, this tanker is finished in red, vivid green, and black. Labels on both sides and rear of the tanker (a little age transparency now) are complete save for one which has a tiny corner section missing (easily overlooked). Complete number plates front and rear. Spare wheel stowed.
Some of the expected chipping at wheel arches, minor ‘bloomed’ spot on a roof edge and some light marking in one small area of the cab.
The lift-off lid box is brightly coloured. Small area of surface loss on one short lid end. Repair to one lid corner at some time. Minor wear besides. Card packing insert has some wear and tear due to model movement.
Scarce and desirable commercial truck from the Spot-on manufacturer, issued during 1961.
