The transition version of this Dinky military model has window glazing, metal wheels and a shiny chrome winding handle cuff (later issues would have plastic wheels and a grey plastic cuff). Seated military figure, a distinctive matte military green paint finish and treaded tyres (well-shaped). Bright baseplate. Not an easy to find version of this classic Dinky military piece:

The striped Supertoys box (with italicised print) is bright and complete. Light wear. With 3 card packing pieces and Dinky Quality Control Tag.
