Stored away for decades, this Gift Set is part of a startling old shop stock find. Many items have never been opened until now, with some outer boxes in a close to pristine state and others showing some signs of storage wear.
Issued between 1978-79, this nicely detailed original ambulance model has a crisp white finish, vivid red detailed interior with sliding side doors and hatch-style rear door. Virtually mint- the box has just been opened to take these images.
Complete with patient on stretcher.
The cellophane-fronted ‘window’ box is bright and clean, with an unpunched header card and intact original cellophane. Light storage crumple and a couple of small tears nearby.
Nice example and part of the detailed range of ‘Accident and Emergency’ Ford Transit vehicles from this period.
