Notes

A very scarce set, few have survived from this period, and understandably those that have survived show varying degrees of crazing/fatigue, due to the unstable nature of the combination of the metals used during this early period.

This early set is dated September, 1939and comprises:

1 × 60a N.C.O.
2 × 160b Gunner
2 × 160d Gunner
160c Gunlayer.

All are finished in the original khaki with details and stands where appropriate. All have very light crazing/fatigue (except for one Gunner).
The lift-off lid yellow card box, code A2303, is bright and fresh-looking with a little minor age wear only. Light wear.
Note that this early example has a yellow informative label below the fif-gures ( later this would be printed directly on the card).
