This is the slightly later issue, made between 1959-61 with window glazing and a red-backed ‘Euclid’ logo at the sides. Such a fine Supertoy from Dinky’s heyday; surely every child from the mid 50’s-60’s remembers it well! Very difficult to find absolutely mint. The truck has a lovely, bright, light yellow, (notably) all-original paint finish, perfect “Euclid” lettering & wording on both sides. Virtually perfect-perfect logo on both sides.
A few incidental marks only. Working mechanism for raising and lowering the tipper. Bright metal winding handle! and grey plastic cuff (late issue).
Lift-off lid picture box is the_ harder to find version with prominent image of model and smaller quarry scene_. Light wear.
