This classic Dinky commercial model has a deep orange-yellow paint finish with black wings and red hubs. Issue without window glazing. 20 mph transfer at the rear. Smooth well-shaped tyres throughout.
A most eye-catching display piece.
Very close to mint condition. Note the small panel at the rear in a slightly lighter orange-yellow colour and in fact when compared with the other example from this collection in the lighter colour, it is precisely the same shade. This leads us to conclude that this small panel was factory painted.
Fine lustre throughout – all original finish.
Couple of tiny marks to the finish.
The striped DINKY TOYS box with ‘921’ factory stamp on both ends and on the box face is a most unusual find. U.S. export label is complete and fresh on one side.
Very minor box wear. With card packing wedge.
