Issued between 1971-72, this desirable London Transport Gift Set comprises:
1) Corgi 418 Taxi, in deepest maroon finish. Whizzwheels. In very near mint condition.
2) Corgi 468 Routemaster Bus ‘OUTSPAN’. In unused condition, this detailed bus with detailed cast wheels has complete labels/transfers (little creasing to one label) and includes both a driver and conductor. Very near mint.
3) Corgi 204 Mini, in an attractive bright mid-blue finish. Lemon interior and clear windows. Whizzwheels. Scarce. In very, very near mint condition.
Policeman on point duty, with his white arm bands, directing the traffic on top of a plastic circular stand.
The polystyrene inner is bright, clean and intact.
The outer blue & yellow window box is complete and bright, with intact smooth original cellophane. Light age/handling wear only.
An unusual Gift Set issued for just a short time by Corgi, and aimed at the tourist market.
