Dinky Gift Set 60 Aeroplanes Set

This Dinky Gift Set 60 Aeroplanes is the 2nd issue (with ‘GA’ registration letters on the wings) and all aeroplanes are strung to the very pale blue card insert. 1936-41.

The set comprises:

1) 60a Imperial Airways in gold with all four propellers intact and virtually complete G-A BTI registration lettering. Excellent plus.

2) 60B Leopard Moth in green with complete ‘G-A CPT’ registration lettering. Near mint plus.

3) 60c Percival Gull in white with gold propeller and virtually complete ‘G-A DZO’ registration lettering. Near mint.

4) 60d Low Wing Monoplane in red with complete ‘G-A VYP’ registration lettering. Very near mint.

5) 60e General Monospar in silver with complete ‘G-A BVP’ lettering. Very near mint.

6) 60F Cierva Autogiro in gold and blue. Near mint.

The very pale blue insert is clean and complete, with tiniest wear only.

Powder blue card base has barely any wear.

The 2nd issue lid has is complete with an intact colourful paper label. Two lid corners have a little subtle glue repair and there is a tiny section missing. Very nearly complete informative paper label at a lid side. A little of the expected age wear besides. Residue from the old tape which kept the lid closed.
