This collection represents a lifelong deep appreciation of Dinky Toys, Britains models, Minic models and more primarily from the 1940’s & 50’s. All British made diecast and tinplate models. Proceeds going to charities close to his heart.
What a delightful find!
This impressive bright yellow Dinky Trade Box comprises 3 Mechanical horse & Open Wagons each with black wheels, silver trim, well-shaped balloon tyres and 20 mph transfer.
Issued in various colour finishes 1947-54 (re-numbered to 415 after this date and given an individual box):
1) Olive green model. Gleaming bright. Very near mint. Few dot retouches visible under close scrutiny.
2) Matt brown model. In all original condition.
3) Olive green & deep maroon. Mere couple of dot retouches.
Unused old shop stock Dinky Trade Box presents well, showing light wear only. Nice to see the original dividers inside too including the nearly always discarded top packing piece.
