This type 2 version of the Petrol Tank Wagon in green and black was issued during 1946 and would have been sent to the shopkeeper in trade boxes, so not individually boxed.
This example presents well with a vivid and shining deep paint finish and complete and unmarked black ‘PETROL’ lettering on both sides. Original tyres are well-shaped. Black ridged wheels. Complete with an intact radiator and headlight assembly. 20 mph label is still present at the rear.
Type 2:
Hard to find a mark to the paint finish although note a tiny retouch on the roof.
