Tri-ang Minic 62ME Fire Engine

This collection represents a lifelong deep appreciation of Dinky Toys, Britains models, Minic models and more primarily from the 1940’s & 50’s. All British made diecast and tinplate models. Proceeds going to charities close to his heart.
This shining bright Fire engine has a vivid unfaded red and glossy black finish, with shiny tinplate wheels, a working motor, 2 red plastic ladders and sections of original white hose with brass nozzles (unsurprisingly not intact now). Pre-war electric headlamp version with a solid brass bell and brass-coloured plastic hose splitter at the rear. Notably complete transfers on both sides.
Presents nicely – condition belies its age!

Very close to mint. Untested electric headlamp function, (bulbs are present). Working clockwork function.
Colourfully, lift-off lid pale blue illustrated card box presents well, with minimal wear. Minic Key & Minic Batteries Slip included.
