Dinky Toys 156 Rover 75 Saloon
Rover 75 Saloon by Dinky Toys, No. 156. Two-tone green version. Version with BRIGHTER GREEN LOWER & NOT SO PALE GREEN UPPER. Large print baseplate. SMOOTH tyres. Very, very near mint/boxed. Fresh box! From The One Owner From New Collection.
Notes
This classic Dinky Rover Saloon was made between 1956-59 in this two-tone green finish. Wonderfully glossy finish and note this particular colour version has a bright green lower & not so pale green upper.
Note that this example has the large print and 156 on the shiny baseplate. Smooth tyres are well-shaped.
Pleasing lustre to the original paint finish throughout. Virtually mint paint finish.
The pictorial box has vivid colours on crisp card. Later ‘in the print’ two-tone green colour spot at the end flaps. Tiny wear.
