Corgi Gift Set 41 Car Transporter & 6 Cars

This is a sought-after and scarce Gift Set issued between 1966-68 and only available by Mail Order at the time.
This exciting and colourful set comprises:

1) Corgi 1138 Ford Car Transporter in red, blue & silver.
Excellent plus with some marking to the paint finish mostly to the top section (toward the rear) and caused by contact with the models. Intact horns on the roof. Chevron labels at the rear. Both wing mirrors are intact and complete with the little mirror pieces too. 4 plastic chocks (light wear).

2) Corgi 226 Morris Mini Minor in lilac blue with a red interior. Near mint plus.

3) Corgi 249 Morris Mini Cooper in red & black with ‘wickerwork’ side detail. Very near mint, with complete wickerwork panels. Lustrous finish and jewelled headlights. Intact suspension on cast wheels.

3) Corgi 251 Hillman Imp in bronze. Near mint with suspension on all four wheels notably. A few contact chips.

4) Corgi 252 Rover 2000 in metallic deep plum. Very near mint. Suspension.

5) Corgi 321 Austin Mini-Cooper in red with roof signatures of Timo Makinen and Paul Easter. All four jewelled lights and complete transfers throughout. Tiny rubs to roof signatures and marking to front bumper.

6) Corgi 440 Ford Cortina Estate in blue. Very near mint.

All contents are housed in a polystyrene tray which has a little minor grubbiness/wear. No Corgi Dog label.

The colourful card lid is strongly-coloured and presents well with a full colour illustration on the lift-off lid. Very minor wear includes a couple of surface grubby marks from storage.
