This is an all original early (wartime) Dinky ambulance with a close to perfect grey and black finish with bright red cross details on both sides. This early version has open rear & side windows. Complete headlight and radiator assembly (much of the original plating remains), smooth black wheels, fine smooth tyres and crimped axles. With radiator badge detail (later issues did not have this detail).
A wonderful original lustre makes this scarce version an outstanding display piece.
A few little marks as you might expect.
This model would have been sold from a shopkeeper’s trade box, so never individually boxed.
