This Taunus POLIZEI model was made for export to the German market only between 1967-68.
This very close to mint example has a white and deepest green finish with complete ‘POLIZEI’ labels on both doors and boot. Blue roof light. Intact original aerial. Shiny wheels with white surround. Well-shaped original tyres. Bright chrome at bumpers, clean and complete number plates, front and rear.
Key differences between this model and others we have seen over the years:
1) Rear doors are white not dark green
2) Aerial is silver-grey not chromed
3) Black screwed base not rivetted
