Notes
Issued between 1948-52, this fresh and bright 1st type Foden has a vivid red cab and chassis, fawn back and silver flash. Such an attractive lustre to the paint finish!
Fine tread radial tyres and hook. Tanker slits. Large painted hook, spare wheel and shiny baseplate, axles etc.
Upon closest inspection, one can find a few dot retouches.
The early powder blue box with a paper label is bright and complete, showing very light handling wear. Nice to see the factory stamp denoting colour of model ‘R’. Period price on one side.
