A very popular Corgi model – this example has a fine and gleaming scarlet paint finish. The left-hand drive version has a notably complete & fresh detailed bonnet label, complete door numbers and “Nairobi” label. Chrome bumpers, wheels, baseplate, and sparkling jewelled headlights.
Virtually mint!
It comes complete with rhino, as well as the white card packing piece and the yellow card packing piece that fits over the wheel on the roof. Note this is the first version (we surmise) wiht the full circular card ring on the roof. Most often found with the card ring with a cut-out to lift off the wheel on the roof.
The colourful card plinth on which car and rhino sit is an attractive display piece. Small front edge ruffle but no wheel slot tears. Complete pull tags at both ends.
Box reverse has lots of information about the “Beetle”.
The outer box is bright and complete, with eye-catching graphics. Minor wear.
