Notes
We have just sold a ‘Presenting Corgi’ Shopkeeper’s Trade Magazine – and now another slightly different version has found its way to QDT!
Mettoy Playcraft Limited colour 12 page promotional magazine for Corgi shopkeepers! Such a rare find circa 1971 – and only the second we have ever seen! The magazine has minor storage wear to covers (no tears or graffiti)) and measures 21.5 × 28cms approx.
This engrossing magazine provides a little window into the world of the Corgi shopkeeper back in the day and provides us with an insight into the remarkable choice of display cabinets and promotional material available at the time, including signs, Corgi cabinets, card displays & tinplate shelving. Dazzling array of Corgi Rocket & Corgi Junior Stands as well!
We could not omit one page in this listing, so here’s the full range!
Note this version which we assume was only distributed within the UK has imperial measurements only, additional period informative labels to 2 of the Corgi stands, too.
