Dinky Toys 27F 344 Estate Car
Estate Car by Dinky Toys, No. 27F 344. Very, very near mint/boxed. Scarce version with FAWN not cream wheels. Harder to find dual-numbered box. From The Rickman Collection.
Notes
Issued during 1954, this example marks the transition from the earlier numbering (27F) to the new 344 numbering. In all original condition, with a shining two-tone finish, and scarce with fawn ridged hubs. Bright baseplate. Original smooth tyres run well.
Lustrous finish. Gives the impression of unsold, old shop stock. Fine silver trim.
Note the early numbering ‘27F’ on the base.
The scarce dual-numbered box is strongly-coloured and complete. Crisp. Light wear. Note that the 344 product number is surrounded by a black oval (box faces and end flaps) which is an early feature. Light wear.
