Dinky Toys 104 Spectrum Pursuit Vehicle

This scarce Gerry Anderson model inspired by the t.v. series ‘Captain Scarlet & The Mysterons’ is in all original condition, carefully handled and stored.
This version has a pleasing metallic blue finish, black bumper and base, complete with original figure of Captain Scarlet and 2 firing front rockets. Later-style transfers and paper labels, and simplified Captain Scarlet mechanism (i.e. the Captain Scarlet figure emerges on a fixed seat in these later issues). Nice example with perfect black rubber tracks and aerials. Looks unused.
2nd issue with white plastic cover on the door release mechanism on the roof.

Occasional small mark to the paint. A little wear to one of the side labels but all complete. Note the door gapes slightly but the mechanism works well.
The box has a complete and colourful card plinth (light wear). Note the factory applied blue rectangular paper placed over the illustration since it shows the operation of the door to release Captain Scarlet from the 1st issue.

The original bubble lid has a small split lower edge and slightly yellowed. Two missiles with original tape & wrapped, so unused. With leaflet tucked away on the box underside:
