Notes
Sought after models that are so difficult to find in good condition! Dinky dies were sold to the Indian Firm S. Kumar & Co. trading as Atamco. (1968-70). Often known as Indian-Dinky toys, the finish was poor in comparison.
Scarce. This is a very close to mint Jaguar Mark X model finished in a pleasing vivid metallic green shade with off-white interior, black steering wheel. With separate wheels/tyres.
Gloss base with ‘Nicky Toys’ on the base, no product number but ‘Jaguar Mark X’ lettering present.
With item of luggage.
The Nicky Toys box (ATAMCO P LTD. Calcutta) has a little of the wear that is so often found with these boxes. Crisp, solid feel and no repairs. Little puncture on the underside.
