Notes

Issued 1949 -52. This classic Dinky model is a scarce 1st issue find in violet blue with a deep orange back and light blue ridged (not Supertoy) wheels. Small hook, axles secured by means of tinplate clips, silver-coloured nut and bolt fixing for the spare wheel. Well-shaped smooth black tyres. 1st type cab without 513 on the base. All correct.
A first for QDT!

Bright baseplate.
Hard to find a mark, although under close inspection a few touch-ins may be found.

The powder blue picture box complete with no splits or repairs. Complete and vibrant paper label. Label at short lid end is complete too and bears the period price written by the shopkeeper back in the day. Light fading to the sides.
A difficult version to find.
