Circa 1950’s tinplate clockwork model from this respected toymaker. Charming lithography throughout adds to the appeal. Working clockwork function with a permanent key ready to wind at the side. Balloon style one-piece wheels/tyres. ‘LONDON RD’ destination. With registration no. ‘WAT 3454’ and ‘MADE IN GT. Britain’.
This single decker coach measures approx. 18cms.
Some light marking and note minor tarnishing on the underside in a couple of places.
A rare model to come to the market-place.
The owner paid a fulsome price to secure this model at auction 9 or so years ago.
