Notes
Issued between 1952-54, this 2nd type Foden has a shining original violet blue cab and chassis, mid blue back and wheels – nearly always found in the red and fawn finish, this is a scarce colour variation!
It is so often the case that upon close inspection, some touch-ins are found on rare models – happy to say that this example is completely original with a lustrous finish throughout. Indeed the paler blue back is very, very close to mint! The cab roof has a few pin head-sized marks and there are some at wheel arches too.
Bright baseplate and axles:
The box is in outstanding condition too with such vibrant colours – fresh and vivid with the deepest blue and brightest orange you will find!
Minor age wear only.
A recommended investment item and a joy to own -an increasingly rare find.
