Notes
Issued from 1962 with a type 3 Leyland grille, this classic Dinky bus has green plastic wheels – not an easy version to find. This Bus model presents well with a lustrous original lighter green and cream paint finish, green plastic wheels, well-shaped treaded tyres. Sloping lettering on both sides.
Very close to mint.
Small mark to the paint finish on the roof front edge.
Note the base has a faintly scratched date 20/7/64 which we assume was the date of purchase.
This model comes in the correct late issue lighter yellow pictorial box. Crisp and vividly-coloured. Looks like old shop stock (period shop price label in dollars on an end flap).
