This collection represents a lifelong deep appreciation of Dinky Toys, Britains models, Minic models and more primarily from the 1940’s & 50’s. All British made diecast and tinplate models. Proceeds going to charities close to his heart.
This Bedford Articulated Lorry Supertoy has a vivid deep yellow finish with black wings. Red ridged wheels. Combination of smooth tyres and radial tyres (correct). Smooth spare tyre. ‘Dinky SUPERTOYS’ on the base. Made between 1950-54. Complete with both lights, tow hook and ‘20’ transfer at rear.
Hard to find a mark to the glossy paint finish. Occasional small touch in to the wagon back.
The green card box is strongly-coloured with a bright and very nearly complete paper label. A little age wear and green ink stamp on each end.
