From an outstanding private collection, a lifetime’s legacy, with his proceeds from the sale to go to the charities closest to his heart.
In all original condition, with a fine sheen to the deep maroon and tan finish. More often found with slightly darker wheels (fawn) or indeed cream wheels. The wheels on this Big Bedford Lorry are the exact colour of the tan back. Silver trim. Grey radial tyres (spare stowed) are well-shaped.
Presents well with a glossy finish.
Virtually mint paint finish.
The deep blue box with a paper label has excellent strong colours and a bright, clean paper label. Faint period pencilled pricing on a short lid end. Minor wear only.
With card packing piece.
