Dinky Toys 933 Leyland Cement Wagon "Ferrocrete"
Leyland Cement Wagon "Ferrocrete" by Dinky Toys, No. 533 933. Very near mint/dual-numbered box. From The Fenman Collection.
Notes
This striking Dinky toy has a vibrant deep yellow paint finish with perfect – very near perfect transfers and lettering on both sides and at the rear.
So often found with touch-ins, this model has fared better than most (occasional minor wheel arch touch-in).
Baseplate looks very clean and bright, with spare wheel stowed:
Correct grey radial tyres re well-shaped save for one which has a light flat spot.
The striped ‘Dinky Toys’ box is complete and bright. Minor wear and a period shop price label on the deep purple-blue box underside.
Note that this is a dual-numbered box since this is one of the first examples under the new numbering of 933 from 533 previously.
