Notes
This is an eye-catching, bright red and yellow Comet truck issued between 1949-54. In close to perfect condition with yellow cast wheels and well-shaped grey radial tyres:
A little loss to the red finish on a wheel arch and a dab of (we assume) factory red paint to cover a small area of casting roughness on one cab side.
Note the period shop transfer on the underside of the model.
The early blue box is bright and strongly-coloured. Light wear and the original owner has written his name neatly on the lid.
