Corgi Toys 327 M.G.B. G.T.
M.G.B. G.T. by Corgi Toys, No. 327. Very near mint/boxed. Very unusual with racing numbers & bonnet stripe (as on C312 Competition E Type Jaguar). From The Hastings Collection. QDT starting bid £125. Please note that QDT apply 12.5% buyer's commission.
Notes
This sought-after Corgi model was issued between 1967-69. Deep red original paint finish, jewelled headlights, perfect M.G.B. rear transfer, and opening boot. Suspension is fine on all four spoked wheels. Correct opening black plastic suitcase is included.
Tiny nick to the lower edge of one racing number (minute).
The pictorial box is crisp and complete with all end flaps. Scuff on one side due to the removal of a price sticker or similar at some time.
Extremely unusual example with these delicate transfers applied. Transfers are identical to those found on the Corgi 312 Jaguar model made at the same period.
QDT View:
We are convinced of the originality of this variation having seen several in chipped condition, and spoken to collectors who have seen them in the All Winners Set.
