Notes
Rare 1st issue example made between 1949-54 with no triangular lugs next to the number plate, early deep green ridged wheels, and rear axle fixed by tin clips. Large unpainted hook.
A rare find in this burnt orange and mid-green finish, with darker green ridged (not grooved Supertoy) wheels.
Bolt fixing and DINKY SUPERTOYS on the base. Spare wheel.
Presents well although close inspection reveals a few retouches.
The correct early buff box with picture label is complete, bright and sound. A little minor wear commensurate with age includes a seam repair. Faint factory stamped ‘O’ at one lid end.
