This collection represents a lifelong deep appreciation of Dinky Toys, Britains models, Minic models and more primarily from the 1940’s & 50’s. All British made diecast and tinplate models. Proceeds going to charities close to his heart.
A cache of 4 Dinky 29E Single Deck Buses (1948-52) housed in the original Dinky shopkeeper’s Trade Box as follows:
1 x cream & mid-blue version with black ridged wheels and smooth black tyres. Very near mint.
2 x two-tone blue versions with blue ridged wheels and smooth black tyres. Very near mint.
1 x two-tone green version, with deep green ridged wheels and smooth black tyres. Near mint plus.
Occasional minor mark and small retouches visible.
The outer buff card Trade Box is sturdy, clean, bright and presents well. Two very minor part-punctures which are easily overlooked. Bright paper label at a lid end and there is a period price penned. No original dividers but the owner has added some replacements for ease of storing the models.
